CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH WELCOMES NEW MINISTER

A pot luck supper and get together to welcome the Rev. and Mrs. Alan L. Eddy 
into the Congregational Church was well attended Wednesday evening. The event 
was opened with a devotional service by the Rev. Eddy.

At a business session, reports were heard from the officers, ladies society 
and Sunday school. Dr. D. N. Loose and M. W. Joiner were elected Deacons for a 
three year term. L. W. Romer and Hugo Staack were elected Trustees also for 
three year terms.
