Father Bowen is at work to start a Nunnery in connection with St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Preston, and if the gentlemen receives liberal support from our citizens the project will be carried out. This would doubtless add from 200 to 300 inhabitants to our city from 25 to 50 families, besides 50 to 100 scholars who would make their home here while going to school. All of our businessmen and citizens should give this their hearty support. It will aid a good cause and benefit our town.
