Dedication recites: This plat is upon land located by Commissioners appointed 
by an Act of the Legislative Assembly of said Territory of 1840-1841, and 
entered by order of the Board of Commissioners of said county for the use and 
benefit of said County of Clinton, being the E1/2 of the NW1/4 and the W1/2 of 
the NE1/4 of Section 18, all in Township 81 North, Range 4, East of the 5th 
P.M.
