Jackson County, Iowa.

Petition For The Discontinuance Of The City Of Green Island, Iowa.
Petition signed by Francis Culver, Mayor, George C. Hayward, Council Member, 
Douglas J. Drury, Council Member, and Sandra Drury, Council Member.
Petition states the City of Green Island has no police, no fire department, no 
road equipment, no sewer or water services, and that city tax revenue is not 
sufficient to provide services to the residents, and asks that an election be 
set and if approved the city’s incorporation be discontinued.

Final Order-
The City Development Board, State of Iowa, states that all procedures has been 
followed to discontinue the incorporation of the City of Green Island, and 
that the discontinuance is complete on December 30, 1993.
