Another son, Alfred Schroeder, died in England, just two weeks ago. The two brothers were called to service July 29th. Besides the grief stricken father, three sisters and two brothers survive: Mrs. Vance Peters of Preston, Mrs. Will Paup of Spragueville, John of Charlotte, Margaret and August at home. The father, who is called upon to give his two sons to his country is heart-broken over his loss.
