Corp. Alvin Schroeder Makes Supreme Sacrifice

Corp. Alvin Schroeder, with the Allied Expeditionary Forces in France, has 
made the supreme sacrifice for democracy and humanity. His parents, Mr. and 
Mrs. Fred Schroeder, received a telegram from the War Department last Thursday 
evening, informing them that their son had died September 18, 1918, from 
wounds received in action July 24, 1918.
