Former Sabula Boy Dies In France

Sabula friends were sorry to hear of the death of Vernon Staples of Clinton in 
France on October 25, 1918. He was formerly Sabula boy and has been serving 
his country for the past six months. The young man was well known here and was 
well liked and his passing will be deeply felt by his many friends.
