This total, announced January 15, Thirty-one names were added in the first 15 days of January. The department lists 46 Jackson county casualties, which are shown below. This list was compiled with the cooperation of Mrs. R. W. Benson, of Maquoketa, and any errors found should be reported to the state department, Historical building 19, Des Moines.
