Capt. J. Murray Hoag

Capt. J. Murray Hoag and George Hayes returned home from St. Louis last week
well pleased with their success at the great fair. They had twenty superb ponies
on exhibition, three of which were sold, and of the six generous prizes offered
by the management, Capt. Hoag’s ponies captured five. A large number of the
ponies are now at the Chicago Horse Show, where they will undoubtedly capture
the greater portion of the prizes.
