Prominent Insurance Men

Hon. J. W. Ellis and Frank E. Ellis have been entertaining big insurance men 
from their big companies the past few days. Some of whom were called here by 
the loss of M. S. and I. M. Bowling, Charles Huffmiller, J. J. Anglin, Peaslee 
Streets and M. Walker.

Those here were Ralph Martin, adjuster for the Fireman’s Fund Ins. Co.; C. L. 
Montgomery, state agent for St. Paul Fire and Marine; Chas. Woodward, adjuster 
for the Phoenix of Hartford; John R. Weible state agent for the National of 
Hartford and W. T. Hough, state agent for the Hartford of Connecticut.

While this old time local agency has had many losses this year, they have come 
across with the same old liberality and fairness which has characterized this 
firm for the last 35 years.
