The transfer took place last Thursday, Mr. Ellinghouse paying $150.00 for the boat. So far as known at the present the arrangements will be the same as last summer, in regard to time, etc. There is considerable room for improvement in the system of ferriage at this point, more especially at the farther end of the route, across Crooked Slough, and we hope to see the changes made this season. There should be better accommodations for Illinois people who want to come to Bellevue to trade.
