Local Newspaper Changes Ownership

R. T. Melvold of Cresco, who has purchased the Community Press from John Q. 
Robinson, has arrived in Maquoketa and will assume management and ownership of 
the paper on May 1.  Mr. Robinson will continue in the employ of Mr. Melvold, 
devoting his full time to the mechanical side of the business.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvold came to Maquoketa from Glenwood where he was the news 
editor of both the Glenwood Opinion-Tribune and Mills County Times. He is a 
graduate of the University of Iowa.
