He had gone outside to cut down a small tree and was discovered lying there by a neighbor shortly afterwards. Mr. Schultz appeared to be in excellent health during the day, having done little odd jobs about the home, and his death came as a great shock to the relatives and many friends. He was 72 years of age at the time he passed away. Mayor Schultz has been untiring in his efforts for the betterment of the community and his passing will be deeply felt by all. He had been mayor of Sabula for many years and it was mainly through his efforts that the electric light system was secured for the city.
