Steamer Thistle- The steamer Thistle passed Sabula the first of the week with a large raft, if not the largest ever sent down the Mississippi River. The raft contained five million feet of lumber, thirty-two cribs, sixteen cribs wide-lumber enough in one raft to stock a good sized yard-worth fully $50,000.
