For this purpose, W. F. McCarron, ex-editor of the Excelsior, has been commissioned by the Grand Division of Iowa, and will enter the field as a lecturer, giving his first address at the M. E. church, next Sunday evening, by solicitation of friends of the cause in Maquoketa. Mr. McCarron was in attendance at the National Division of this order for North America, held at the city of Washington, in June last, and has doubtless gained various items of interest in his travels throughout the middle and southern states. We bespeak for his first effort in Maquoketa a large audience.
