The dead body of a man was taken from the river at this place one day last week. He wore a coarse striped shirt, jeans pants, and had some $1.50 in his purse, a blank ticket for deck passage on the Ben. Campbell. The body was so much decayed, as to prevent further description. The coroner held an inquest; verdict of the jury, death by drowning.
