Berniece A. Brandt, 104, of Bellevue, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013, at 
Mill Valley in Bellevue. 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday morning, February 1, 2013, 
at St. John Lutheran Church in Bellevue. Burial will be in the Church 
Cemetery. Visitation for Berniece will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Friday 
morning at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Hachmann Funeral Home 
& Cremation Service. 

Berniece was born on September 19, 1908 in Bellevue, Iowa, daughter of George 
and Rose (Bausch) Glade. She married Edward Brandt on August 11, 1930 in 
Bellevue. He passed away 1983. 

Bea graduated from Bellevue High School in 1925. She had many friends and 
loved to play the organ, knit, play cards and travel. Bea and her husband 
spent many winters in Texas after retirement. She was a lifelong member of St. 
John Lutheran Church. Bea will be deeply missed by all. 

Those left to honor her memory include her niece, Jan (Roy) Brinker, of 
Bellevue and four great nieces and nephews, Cathy (Kress) Williamson, of 
Wisconsin, David (Jan) Brinker, of Bellevue, Kim (Paul) Cole, Oklahoma, and 
Steven (Melissa) Brinker, of Bellevue. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, William in 2012; and 
sister, Eleanor Beck-Millman. 

The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Mill Valley 
for the care and compassion shown to Bea.
