Conery, who died Tuesday evening at the Becker home, were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Becker home the Rev. F. C. Worcester of the Methodist Episcopal Church officiating. Mr. Conery was born in New York in 1841 and as a young man came west where he was united in marriage to Miss Flora Marstall, also a resident of New York state. Mr. Conery was a Civil War veteran, having enlisted in Company I of the 24th Iowa Infantry. He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edith Holman of Chicago, Mrs. Joseph Seyfert of Lost Nation, who were at his bedside at the time of his death, and Mrs. Mabel Sponsler of California. Mr. Conery's wife preceded him in death. Since the death of his wife, Mr. Conery has lived with his children and for the past year has been a guest of the Becker home.
