A. Harrington, Dr. Joseph Cowden, Jr. died in the 68th year of his age. Dr. Cowden was one of the earliest pioneers in Jackson county, having emigrated from Pennsylvania to this county, in 1853. For several years past he has resided with his children in Bellevue and vicinity.
