Donovan, aged 17 years, at his home in East Garry Owen, at 5:40 Friday evening. He had been suffering but a short time with brain fever which resulted in his death. Michael was a bright boy with a lovely disposition and his cheerful presence will be sadly missed in the home circle as well as by his many friends and relatives. "None knew him but to love him." He is survived by his father Daniel Donovan, one brother, Willie, and four sisters, Maggie, Jettye, Mary and Clarsa, who deeply mourn their sad loss. The funeral was held Sunday, the long procession of carriages starting from the house at 11 a.m. and reaching the cemetery at 11:30 where he was laid beside his mother. Father Kelley officiated at the church and grave. Pall bearers were Johnie Sullivan, Richard and Cornelius Donovan, James Ahern, Nealy and Daniel McDonald.
