Cascade Pioneer, Dec. 15, 1893
Mrs. D. F. Donovan, of Garry Owen, died Wednesday morning, Dec. 6, 1893, at the
residence of her brother-in-law, John Ryan, 113 Main street, Dubuque. She had
been ailing for some time and was brought to Dubuque for better treatment.
.She.was 38 years of age. Her maiden name was Johanna Sullivan. She is survived
by her husband and six children, four girls and two boys. The oldest child is 12
years old and the youngest 3 months. Her father and two sisters are living in
Garry Owen and a brother at Marcus, Iowa. The funeral took place on Thursday, at
Garry Owen.
