For many years, however, the doctor has been in poor health and as he had reached an advanced age, he was unable to withstand the ravages of disease which claimed him. Dr. Eaton was a native of Canada, but came to Sabula quite a few years ago, and for a long time conducted dental offices in Sabula and Savanna. About fifteen years ago he gave up his practice and has since lived on his farm in Iowa Township, just north of Beaver Creek Mill.
