Mr. Edwards was a pioneer in Jackson county, born on a farm in Farmers Creek township, where he resided nearly all his life. He was a prosperous farmer, but for the past few years his health failed and he retired from the active farm life and made his home with his children. His wife preceded him in death some years ago. He is survived by five sons and six daughters. His funeral was held in the home of his daughter, Mrs. Johnson on Tuesday, July 10, 1917. Services were conducted by Rev. Mullen, with interment in the Willison Cemetery near Iron Hill.
