Mr. Edwards was a pioneer of Jackson County, born on a farm in Farmers Creek township, November 6, 1848, where he resided nearly all his life. He was a properous farmer, but for the last few years, his health failed him and he retired from active farm life and made his home with his children. His wife preceded him in death some years ago. He is survived by five sons and six daughters. His funeral was held at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Johnson, on Tuesday, July 10. Services were conducted by Rev. Mullen, with interment in the Willison cemetery, near Iron Hill.
