Deceased was born in Austria, November 7, 1852, coming to this country when a young man, since which time he had been a resident of the Nashville vicinity. He was for several years the postmaster of that place and conducted a general store there for a long time. He is survived by his wife, one son, John, and one daughter of Clinton. The funeral was held from the Nashville church, Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Interment was made in the Buckhorn cemetery.
