Erlo Furrow, surrounded by his wife and five little ones craved to live; yearned to be spared that he might see his children blossom into men and women might be an honor and a pleasure to their parents in after years. But the God who gave him this happiness deemed it wise to call the devoted husband and father to his reward and humbly we must all bow to His divine will. Erlo Furrow, was born at Hurstville September 10, 1880 and his entire life had been spent in that community, he having since early manhood been in the employ of the Hurst company. By his industry and strict attention to his duties, he retained his position through the subsequent years and in his passing the firm for which he labored so long lost a valued employee. About ten days ago he was stricken with the dread epidemic now prevalent which developed into pneumonia which caused his death Friday, February 13th. Besides his wife and five children he is survived by other relatives and many friends. Especially to the family circle does the sympathy of an entire community go out in this their great loss. The funeral was held from Buchner chapel Monday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. J. J. Kidder officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.
