The funeral will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Bellevue, with burial in the church cemetery. Henry Graaff was a son of the late Hipolet and Rebacke Graaff, born in the Bellevue locality. He was united in marriage to Miss Edna Biehle of Maquoketa and they made Bellevue their home. Mr. Graaff was both civic and socially prominent in Bellevue and served as city clerk, on the board of education and as assistant cashier of the defunct Bellevue State Bank. He was a gifted singer and a choir member of St. John's Lutheran church for many years. Eight years ago the family moved to Davenport and then to Martelle, where he served as city clerk. Besides his widow, he leaves three sons, Eldred of Davenport, Tommy of Princeton, Lorin of Des Moines and four daughters, Mrs. Anthony Hoffman of Martelle, Mrs. Carlton Lewis of Bloomfield, Miss Wilma Graaff of Davenport, and Ruth of Cedar Rapids. He also leaves two brothers, Ed and William of Davenport and one sister, Mrs. Susan DeLack of Davenport.
