Timothy Horan- 

Funeral services for Timothy Horan, age 84 years, who died Tuesday at 12:50 
P.M., at his home in Dubuque, after a week's illness, were held from the 
Hoffman Mortuary to St. Patrick's Church, Friday at 9:00 A.M. Burial was in 
Mt. Calvary cemetery. Mr. Horan was born Nov. 20 1864, at Garryowen in Jackson 
Ccunty. He was the son of the late John and Catherine Horan. On August 25, 
1895, he was married to Nellie McLaughlin, at Garry Owen, by the late Rev. 
James Kelly. He moved to Dubuque 40 years ago and for many years was an 
employee in the Milwaukee Road car repair shops. At the time of bis death, he 
was retired. He attended St. Patrick's parish Church and was a member of the 
Holy Name Society. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Mary Tschudi of 
Durango and Mrs. Christina Feyen of Dubuque; and one son, Joseph R., of Argo, 
Illinois; also eight grandchildren and s1x greatgrandchildren. A daughter, two 
sisters and four brothers preceded hlm in death.
