At the age of 16 she came to the state of New York with her parents, and at the age of 20 she was married to Thomas Harvey. Twelve children were born unto them, three of whom survive-Mrs. Geo. Littell, of Pierce, Neb.; Mrs. Chas. Littell of Nashville; Mrs. R. R. Swan of South Grove, with whom she resided at the time of her death. In the year 1844, she, with her husband, moved to the state of Illinois, where they resided until the year 1854, when they moved to Iowa. She was left a widow on the 28th day of July 1855, and was married to James Illingworth in 1861. She was again left a widow on February 29, 1889. She was a true friend and a kind neighbor, her motto being, through all her life "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." The funeral took place from the country home at 10 a.m. yesterday, with the preaching at Buckhorn church, followed by interment at Buckhorn cemetery, Rev. D. F. Boomershine officiated.
