DEATH OF CLIFFORD L. JACOBS

On May 30th, 1901, Clifford L. Jacobs was taken sick with appendicitis and all 
that medical skill anf aid could do proved to be unavailable so that on June 
3, 1901, at his home, the residence of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James 
Swift, he gave up the battle of life and passed peacefully into the great 
beyond where this world’s trials and sorrows are unknown. The funeral service 
was held at the home June 5th, conducted by Rev. Pughe, followed by the grief 
stricken mother and sister and a large concourse of near relatives and friends.
