MRS. FRANK KECK DIES MONDAY AFTER EXTENDED ILLNESS

Mrs. Myrta A. Keck passed away Monday evening, July 29, 1946, at her home on 
West Pleasant Street, after a long illness. Funeral services were held at 2:00 
p.m., Thursday, at the residence, Rev. A. L. Eddy, officiating.

Myrta A. Nickerson, daughter of Truman K. and Sarah S. Nickerson, was born 
March 13, 1871, three miles west of Maquoketa. She came to Maquoketa in 1884 
and this city has since been her home. On June 20, 1894, she was united in 
marriage with Frank H. Keck and they observed their 52nd wedding anniversary 
on June 20 of this year.

The deceased was a charter member of Pythian Sisters and P. E. O.

Besides her husband she is survived by two sisters, Cora Glaser and Gertie 
Carson.
