Maquoketa Record, August 31, 1898

Mrs. T. J. Lambe, wife of ex-Recorder Lambe, passed away at their home in 
LaMotte, Sunday, August 28,1898. She had been a sufferer for some time. A 
husband and daughter are left to mourn their loss. A number of the members of 
the K. P. Lodge of Maquoketa attended the funeral, which was held Tuesday at 
10 a.m. The remains were interred in the Otter Creek Cemetery. The many 
friends of the family extend their sympathy.
