Hope Funeral services were held at the Harrison funeral home Monday at 2 o’clock for Dale McPeake, 22, who died at the Jack Eaton home in this city Friday. The Rev. H. H. Dill was in charge of the service and interment was made in Mt. Hope cemetery. Dale McPeak, son of Arthur and Minnie McPeak was born near Maquoketa on Oct. 4, 1911 and died on Friday, March 9, 1934 in this city, death being due to a heart attack which followed a siege of influenza. His father and one sister preceded him in death. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Minnie McPeak; one sister, Mrs. Harold Swenson of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Harry and LaVille, both of Maquoketa; one aunt, seven uncles, and one nephew.
