Noonan, died of a sudden heart attack at his home Monday – stricken while he was splitting wood. Funeral service was held from his home to St. Patrick’s church, Garryowen, at 9:30 Wednesday morning Burial was at St. Patrick’s cemetery. Born Dec. 30, 1855, in Garryowen, he had been a lifelong resident there and a member of St. Patrick’s church since youth – a church where he was baptized, married, and from where he will be buried. Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Mike Ryle, Bernard, and Mrs. Richard Lynch, Garryowen; and two sons, Leo and Frank Noonan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary; one son, and one daughter.
