DIED- REYNER-At the home of his brother, Dr. Reyner, at Epworth, Dubuque county, Iowa, Sunday, October 29, 1899, Marcus Reyner, aged 56 years. The deceased was born in England and was one of a large family of children. He emigrated to this country when a young man and obtained an interest in the old Eagle Woolen Mills here. In time he married Miss Emeline Hamley, a sister of the Hamley brothers of this city. Later he ran the Ozark Woolen Mills for a time. About fifteen years ago he with his family moved to Broken Bow, Nebraska, where he engaged in mercantile pursuits and where he has since resided. For the past eleven years he has been an invalid and has left the management of his business to his son. A few weeks ago he visited friends and relatives in this city and met some of his old comrades of the War of ’61-’65. The deceased leaves besides his wife and son to mourn his death, numerous relatives living in and near Canton, this county. His remains were taken to Broken Bow for burial.
