    Jackson Sentinel, Nov. 20, 1934

    Mrs. Sarah Jane Ripple, 89, died suddenly this morning at 8:30 o'clock at
her home on South Niagara street. Sarah Jane Black was born in Mercer County,
Pennsylvania, August 27, 1845. She was the widow of James Ripple, who passed
away in 1925. Their only child, Mae, died in 1905. She is survived by two
stepsons, Scott Ripple of Fulton and Budd Ripple of Smithland, Iowa, and three
sisters, Mrs. Mae Albertson of Eldridge, New York, Mrs. Arthur Fairbanks of
Monticello and Mrs. Ida Condit of Springville, Iowa. Funeral arrangements have
not been completed.
