Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Carson and Balster funeral home. The Rev. A. L. Eddy of the First Congregational Church officiated. Burial was made in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Agnes Campbell was born December 17, 1855, in Ireland. She came to this country with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Campbell, eighty years ago, and has since lived in this community. Her husband, A. R. Simpson, died many years ago. She is survived by two brothers, James and John Campbell, and three sisters, Mrs. Margaret McCarthy, Mrs. Jennie Brincker and Elizabeth Lydia, all of Maquoketa.
