DIED-

Alonzo Spaulding long a resident of Maquoketa, but for the last ten years 
Superintendent of the Dubuque Bridge Company, died near DeSoto, Wisconsin, on 
Friday last of paralytic stroke. His remains were shipped to Dubuque Saturday 
evening. The funeral services were held at his late residence in Dubuque 
Sunday afternoon and the remains were shipped to Anamosa for final internment. 
Mr. Spaulding was aged about 60 years.
