    LEONARD STOKESBERRY, OTTER CREEK —

    Leonard J. Stokesberry, 62, died last Thursday afternoon February 25th at
his home in Otter Creek. Mr. Stokesberry was born January 17, 1903. He was the
vice - president of the Otter Creek Telephone Co. and the director of the Otter
Creek township school board. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the
St. Lawrence Church in Otter Creek with burial in the church cemetery. Friends
called at the Haylock - O'Hara Funeral Home after 4 p.m., Saturday. The Rosary
was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Surviving are his wife,
Lorene; a nephew, Robert, who lived with them; two sisters, Mrs. William Dubert
of Maquoketa and Mrs. Dora Anglin of Dubuque; two brothers, James of Maquoketa
and Patrick of Dubuque.
