Harry Thomas, son of Sam Thomas, of Maquoketa, was killed in action in Italy on October 25, the war department announced today. No further particulars were available. Pvt. Thomas had been overseas for more than a year, after having served in this country for some time. Surviving besides the father are two small daughters, who make their home here with their grandfather.
