Mr. Trimble was born June 7, 1821 and moved to Ohio with his father's family when a child. On June 13, 1844, he was married to Miss Susan Sutton, with whom he removed to Iowa in 1852. To this union were born three sons-Robert T., Edward D. and Rev. W. J., all of whom, with his faithful companion, survive him to mourn a kind loving and energetic father and husband. Mr. Trimble was a blacksmith by trade, but in Iowa he was engaged in farming for forty-five years. He was an unassuming, but progressive man, and by frugality and industry had accumulated quite a comfortable fortune. A true man, a noble citizen, a good neighbor, is the verdict of all who knew him. The funeral services were held Wednesday at Iron Hills, Rev. W. C. Thompson, officiating, with interment in the Sutton Cemetery.
