Mrs. Emily Grant Tubbs, 89, Dies Wednesday; Funeral to be Friday 

Mrs. Emily Grant Tubbs, 89, passed away about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home 
of her son, W. H. Tubbs, on East Pleasant Street, with whom she resided. Mrs. 
Tubbs had only been ill a short time and had she lived until Friday would have 
observed her 90th birthday anniversary. 

She was the widow of Danvers P. Tubbs who passed awat a number of years ago. 
The son, Winfield H. Tubbs, is the only survivor in her immediate family, who 
with the six grandchildren mourn the loss of a devoted mother and grandmother. 

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at the Harrison Funeral Home 
with Rev. F. C. Snyder officiating. Interment will be made in Mt. Hope 
Cemetery.
