MONMOUTH NEWS 



Frank Van Patten died at his home in Monmouth April 7th, the funeral being held 
at the M. E. Church, Sunday at 1 o'clock, conducted by the Woodman Lodge. Rev. 
Bacon preached the funeral sermon. There were many handsome tributes, one in 
particular, the beautiful gates ajar, sent from Clinton by friends. He was laid 
to rest in the Monmouth Cemetery. The sorrowful family has the sympathy of many 
friends in their bereavement.
