OBITUARY

Mrs.  J. N. Wood died last Friday at Ravenswood, Illinois, where she had gone 
for treatment. She had a cancerous tumor removed last winter, but the 
operation did not effect a cure. She was a sister of D. A. Wynkoop of 
Bellevue, and of Mrs. F. M. Fort of this city. Her remains were brought to 
Maquoketa for burial.
