ALVIN JOERGER
Alvin Yoerger, 74, of Bellevue died at 7 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 21, at Mercy Medical
Center in 
Dubuque.

Funeral services were held at noon Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Joseph's Catholic
church, 
Bellevue with burial following in Sts. Peter and Paul Church, Springbrook.

The Scripture Wake Service was held Monday at 8 p.m. at the Gallagher Funeral home.

Born Sept. 9, 1901 at Springbrook, Mr. Yoerger was a son of Richard and Mary Monner

Yoerger.  He had been an employee of G.M. Gibson Corp. and was a member of the 
Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are five brothers, Edwin and Clarence, both of Bellevue, Arnold of
Marquoketa, 
Richard of Springbrook and Leroy of Bettendorf; three sisters, Mrs. Edwin (Loretta)
Weis 
of Marquoketa, Mrs. Norbert (Armelia) Kilburg of of [sic] Delmar and Mrs.Edmund 
(Euphrosenia) Noel of DeWitt.

He was preceded by his parents, a brother and sister.
