C. Fenton, Jackson County Recorder, took the solemn vows which made them one. The ceremony was performed at 11 a.m. at the home of the Elder John Heide in the presence of the immediate relatives. The happy party then repaired to the home of the groom's brother, where a fine turkey dinner was served. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton then returned homer Thursday morning and began housekeeping immediately in the James Gibson residence on Main Street. On arriving at his office Mr. Fenton was agreeably surprised in finding a beautiful mission Morris chair with a pipe, tobacco, magazines and a bottle of gin for decorations. This was a token of friendship from the court house officials. Mr. and Mrs. Fenton's many friends extend congratulations to them and best wishes for a happy and prosperous wedded life.
