VOWS SPOKEN AT HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH

MONMOUTH- Miss Laverne Kedley of Monmouth  and Harry Bartels, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. Henry Bartels of Maquoketa were married Sunday at Holy Trinity Catholic 
Church in Baldwin, the Rev. Father Kurth officiating in the double ring 
ceremony. Mary Kedley, sister of the bride and Lawrence Nolan, attended the 
couple. The bride was attired in a brown wool suit with matching accessories 
and wore a corsage of roses. Her attendant wore a beige suit with matching 
accessories and a corsage of carnations. A reception for the immediate 
families was held in the Kedley home following the ceremony. The bride is a 
graduate of the Monmouth School and attended the University of Dubuque. Mr. 
Bartels attended Baldwin High School.
