Father Kurth officiating in the double ring ceremony. Mary Kedley, sister of the bride and Lawrence Nolan, attended the couple. The bride was attired in a brown wool suit with matching accessories and wore a corsage of roses. Her attendant wore a beige suit with matching accessories and a corsage of carnations. A reception for the immediate families was held in the Kedley home following the ceremony. The bride is a graduate of the Monmouth School and attended the University of Dubuque. Mr. Bartels attended Baldwin High School.
