Dumenil, Montrose, Ia., Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial at Oakland cemetery, Keokuk. Friends invited. Obituary of Louis Werden Dumenil Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa November 18, 1924 FUNERAL OF L. DUMENIL THIS MORNING Funeral services for the late Louis W. Dumenil, of Argyle, brother of John Dumenil of this city, were held from the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.V. Dumenil, at Montrose, Iowa, this morning at 11:00 o’clock. Interment was in the Oakland cemetery at Keokuk. Relatives from Keokuk attended the funeral. Louis W. Dumenil was a prominent farmer located near Argyle and was forty years old at the time of his death. He had been confined in the Sacred Heart hospital at Fort Madison since November 3 (8?), and his death occurred there Sunday noon. Typhoid fever was the cause of Mr. Dumenil’s death [date not stated; he died November 16, 1934]. Mr. Dumenil was born near Argyle, April 3, 1884, and had resided in that vicinity during his entire life. He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America and was well known to a wide circle of friends. Besides his wife, Mr. Dumenil is survived by one daughter, Lois, and one son, Donald; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L.V.
