GenWeb Archives by Stephen Brian Hodson. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obituary of Rose Ethel Theroff Dumenil Daily Gate City, Keokuk, Iowa Wednesday, April 29, 1970 ROSE DUMENIL Mrs. Rose E. Dumenil, 77, of 1027 Blondeau died at 3:35 Tuesday afternoon in Graham Hospital where she had been a patient since April 12, 1970. The daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Kohrn Theroff, she was born on October 21, 1892 in Donnellson. She married John B. Dumenil on October 15, 1914 at her home in Donnellson. Mrs. Dumenil had been a resident of Keokuk since 1914. She is survived besides her husband by nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by one sister Lily Theraff [sic]. Service will be held at 2:00 o’clock Thursday at the Pentecostal Gospel Tabernacle Church at 18th and High Streets with Rev. Emmanuel Varner officiating. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens.
