DIED- At Fort Pickering Hospital, on the 26th of May last, Mr. James M. Largent, a soldier of Company H, 22nd Iowa Infantry, aged 29 years. He was wounded at the bloody charge of Vicksburg on the 22nd day of May, 1863, from which he never finally recovered. He died of fever. Mr. Largent formerly resided in this town, and is said to have been a good citizen-an honest, inoffensive man. This adds another to the long list of heroes who have died in defense of their beloved country.
